David Sacks steps down as White House head of encryption affairs

On March 27th, David Sacks stepped down as the White House's head of artificial intelligence and encryption affairs, ending his 130 day tenure as a special government employee. He will continue to serve as co chair of the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, providing technological advice. During his time in the White House, he pushed for market structure and stablecoin legislation, supported the establishment of a strategic Bitcoin reserve in the United States, and advocated for clearer digital asset regulatory rules.
