On March 14th, the conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran resulted in transportation disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz. Shipping data shows that only 77 ships have passed through the strait since March 1st, compared to 1229 ships in the same period last year. Lloyd's Shipbuilding Information Agency stated that most of these vessels are old and have not purchased appropriate insurance, with unclear ownership, and most belong to the "shadow fleet" that evades Western sanctions.
