What Hunter said actually represents the views of quite a few people, especially with the recent war breaking out with Iran, which shattered the hearts of some former Trump supporters who always praised him as a 'peace-loving' leader. I’ve always been skeptical about Trump issuing his own coin. The Trump family has already gained massive profits from cryptocurrency. Just like how many people praise Trump for not taking a salary, I’ve always felt it’s because he doesn’t care about that small amount of money. But to be fair, the Trump administration’s support for cryptocurrency is unprecedented in history. He may have destroyed the bull market for memes, altcoins, and even BTC, but he played an epic role in promoting cryptocurrency on a larger scale, especially in its penetration and even potential replacement of traditional finance. As for the Musk situation, I don’t necessarily think it’s a backstab. The core conflict between the two lies in two points: one is Musk’s consistently aggressive reform and management style clashing with Trump’s need to compromise with reality; the other is the massive economic interests represented by Musk and his camp, whose demands in the national political and economic system couldn’t be fully or promptly satisfied. The fallout between the two can’t be entirely blamed on Trump. Finally, regarding so-called war and peace, politicians—especially strong, historically significant ones with major achievements—are never driven by morality but by strategic and tactical interests. Choosing war or peace is a means, not an end. That said, taking down Khamenei and his evil regime is something I wholeheartedly support. Allowing such an evil regime to grow unchecked is a disaster for all of humanity.
