The US Internal Revenue Service proposes that cryptocurrency brokers provide tax information reports

The US Internal Revenue Service (IRS) proposed new regulatory measures on Thursday, requiring cryptocurrency brokers to provide clients with transaction information reports they have submitted to US tax authorities. This proposal will modify the existing rule under Section 6045 of the Tax Code.
