We have committed to support and work with African financial institutions because they are well-grounded in the issues concerning our continent and are best placed to offer home-grown solutions, including infrastructure, political, economic and social options. Consequently, Kenya and the Africa Finance Corporation are partnering to host the Minerals Infrastructure Summit in April 2026. At the summit, we will build relationships that are critical in strengthening our mining sector and expanding opportunities for investment, jobs, national growth and prosperity. Held talks with the African Finance Corporation CEO Samaila Zubairu, State House, Nairobi. Also welcomed the plan for the AFC to establish its regional headquarters in Nairobi's, and committed to facilitate all the necessary processes.(William Samoei Ruto, PhD)
