Arizona plans to establish a reserve fund by confiscating cryptocurrencies

Arizona is pushing for legislation to establish a state-level digital asset reserve fund using confiscated cryptocurrencies. Arizona Senate Bill 1649 (AZ SB1649) allows the state Treasury Secretary to hold, invest in, or lend BTC, XRP, and other assets that exist only in digital form and can be granted economic rights, ownership, or access.
