Binance plans to add 5 new regulatory licenses in Asia this year

SB Seker, the head of Binance Asia Pacific, stated in an interview with Nikkei Asia in Tokyo that Binance plans to add 5 new regulatory licenses in Asia this year, bringing the total number of Binance licensed jurisdictions worldwide to over 20. Currently, Binance holds regulatory authorizations in Australia, India, Indonesia, Japan, New Zealand, and Thailand in the Asia Pacific region, and South Korea will soon be included in the licensed list due to its acquisition of exchange Gopax. Seker did not disclose the specific target market for the new license, only stating that some markets are nearing the final stage of completion.
