Vitalik: Ethereum should be positioned as a 'sheltered technology'

Vitalik Buterin posted on social media that concerns about the expansion of government and corporate power, privacy breaches, and social platform disorder have intensified, while Ethereum's role in improving real life is still limited. He suggested that Ethereum should become a part of building a "sheltered technology" that provides users with robust collaboration and value management space through open source and decentralized technology, rather than simply focusing on finance or pursuing "world disruption". Vitalik emphasized that the core of Ethereum is to create an "ownerless shared digital space" that supports long-term digital arrangements such as multi signature, market and governance structures, and collaborates with a broader ecosystem to enhance resilience.
