How to track insider addresses on Polymarket?
In the evening, I read an analysis by a foreigner titled 'How to Find 100X Insider Polymarket Walls To Copy',
His article is quite long, but very specific. Based on my own experience, I would like to share a complete process from screening to following orders.
How to distinguish 'insider wallets'? four characteristics
1. New account with large bets
Usually it's a new account with less than 5 transactions, suddenly smashing over $15000 in a niche market.
2. Experts in vertical fields
Only focusing on one category, without touching others, but with a very high hit rate.
3. Abnormal position
For example, if you usually order $500-1000 and suddenly drop 10000 on a certain order.
4. The timing is too accurate
Building a position 2-24 hours before major news, once is a coincidence, and three or more times is insider information.
How to find an 'insider wallet'?
The first step is to filter from the Polymarket ranking list
A wallet that has a positive profit within 30 days, a winning rate of over 55%, and is active in a liquid market.
Step two, check the Top Holders of a single event and find addresses that repeatedly appear in multiple 'right bet' markets
Step three, analyze wallet behavior
This includes the timing of entry (the most valuable 6-12 hours before the news), the method of accumulating positions (insider wallets often fast in and out), the holding period (running after finishing the main uptrend), and whether to only focus on specific vertical categories.
Supplementary observation strategy
1. To track the sale of addresses
Large investors clearing 50% of their inventory for no reason, sometimes indicating a lot of information.
2. Wallet association analysis
The new address may be associated with the old address, such as the same source of funds, similar gas fee patterns, and transaction intervals of a few seconds. Tracing back along the capital chain can detect new insider traders in advance.
3. Monitor abnormal volume in niche markets
The sudden influx of 50000 into the market, which costs an average of 5000 US dollars per day, without any news, most likely indicates that someone knows something.
4. Cross validation of external signals
For example, the popular pizza index predicts military operations based on the traffic of takeout near the Pentagon.
Flight tracking, social media updates of key figures, and schedule changes can all be used to confirm the betting direction of on chain wallets.
But to be honest, I still have some experience.
By the time you discover an insider wallet, it's usually already too late.
So don't try to copy homework into Buffett,
Being able to make a profit by stepping into fewer pitfalls based on some information.
