.@jamesob thinks quantum computing is "many decades out". He is at odds with the ENTIRE quantum computing world, where all physicists & leaders in the space are expecting Bitcoin Q-Day within 9 years, with 80% probability within 5 years. He is basing his conclusions on where the Quantum industry was at 5+ years ago. 2000+ of logic qubits and 100,000s physical are expected to be here within 5 years. Not decades away as James suggests. We already have 50 logic qubits today, and multiple firms expecting 100+ within months. We do have the means of scaling this industry up, because error rates are _falling_ as more qubits are added improving robustness, James + Core team still isn't aware of this. We DO know Quantum will be a thing, because it already is. James thinks Quantum "doesn't even breach the top 100 things to work on for Bitcoin", but it is the ONLY thing that matters for Bitcoin. If the Core teams keep ignoring QC reality like this, in short: Bitcoin is f**ked.(Charles Edwards)
