[Musk's X Platform Appeals €120 Million Fine by the European Commission] According to European media outlet *The Brussels Times*, the European Union previously imposed a €120 million fine on Musk's X platform for allegedly violating the *Digital Services Act*. X platform has since filed an appeal against the fine. This penalty, issued by the European Commission last December, marks the first enforcement action under the EU's digital regulation law. The regulation requires large platforms to combat illegal content, misinformation, and abuse. In a statement published on its own platform, X announced that it is appealing the penalty, claiming that the EU's investigation was flawed. The company stated: 'This decision stems from an incomplete and superficial investigation, with serious procedural errors, misinterpretation of obligations under the *Digital Services Act*, and systematic violations of the rights to defense and due process.'
