JFB - ERIC TRUMP BACKS “LOW COST-PER-KILL” DRONE FIRM
Eric Trump is investing in Israeli drone maker Xtend as part of a $1.5 billion deal to take the company public via a merger with Florida contractor JFB Construction.
Xtend, which markets drones as “low cost-per-kill” munitions, has a multimillion-dollar Pentagon contract and is part of the U.S. Defense Department’s Drone Dominance Program, a $1.1 billion procurement push. The firm recently opened a U.S. facility to scale manufacturing and expand in public markets.
Trump joins as a strategic investor alongside Donald Trump Jr.-linked Unusual Machines. The deal highlights the Trump family’s expanding investments in sectors tied to government regulation, including defense, cryptocurrency, and energy.(*Walter Bloomberg)
