[Richard Teng: Has Requested 'Fortune' to Correct Report on 'Binance Dismissing Investigators Over Iran-Related Findings'] Regarding the report published by 'Fortune' claiming 'Binance dismissed investigators after they discovered Iran-related transactions,' Binance Co-CEO Richard Teng stated that a correction has been requested. Richard Teng emphasized that no violations of sanctions regulations have been found, nor have investigators been dismissed for raising concerns. Binance will continue to uphold its regulatory commitments. Earlier reports from 'Fortune' alleged that Binance's investigation team discovered transactions involving Iranian-linked parties on the platform, totaling over $1 billion, and that at least five investigators were dismissed since late 2025. These transactions primarily occurred on the Tron blockchain and were conducted in the form of Tether's USDT stablecoin. The report also mentioned that several senior compliance officers have resigned in recent months, and Binance is currently seeking a successor for Chief Compliance Officer Noah Perlman, who is set to step down later this year. In response, Changpeng Zhao stated that the report claiming 'Binance dismissed investigators over Iran-related findings' is 'contradictory.'
