South Africa’s G20 Presidency has been a historic milestone; not only for our nation but for Africa as a whole. For the first time, the G20 was hosted on African soil, placing our continent at the very heart of global decision-making. As President of the G20, South Africa was uniquely positioned to champion the priorities of emerging market economies and to advance Africa’s development agenda within the G20 framework.   Our Presidency was not merely a moment in time, it was a catalyst, a launchpad for inclusive innovation, sustainable development, and African-led global collaboration.
