HK) Research Institute released the "2025 Global High Net Worth Population Digital Wealth Allocation Trend Report" at the "Hong Kong Digital Wealth Forum", which is the first systematic research report focusing on the global high net worth population's cryptocurrency asset allocation. Ding Yuan, the president of Xinhuo Research Institute, stated that approximately 60 million high net worth individuals worldwide hold $226.47 trillion in investable assets. If the proportion of cryptocurrency assets allocated reaches 2% to 4%, it will inject $4.5 trillion to $9 trillion into the cryptocurrency market in the next three to five years. The report shows that global high net worth wealth is concentrated in North America, Western Europe, and Greater China, with Hong Kong becoming a core hub for cross-border allocation. Ding Yuan predicts that the scale of wealth transfer in the next 20 years will reach $83 trillion, and digital assets have become the fourth largest asset category for the younger generation. It is expected that the proportion of new generation home office allocation will exceed 10% by 2028. He pointed out that digital asset private banking will become the ultimate form of serving high net worth individuals.
