Pakistan collaborates with DFINITY to advance sovereign cloud and AI infrastructure

DFINITY Foundation announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Pakistani government to establish a sovereign cloud infrastructure on the Internet Computer network, develop generative AI applications, and build a secure national communication system. The cooperation includes: -Pakistan subnet: a serverless cloud created by a node network, with data and computing resources retained within Pakistan, providing support for AI software development and operation. -Caffeine AI License: Pakistan will receive 1500 initial licenses to support the government, academia, and private sector in developing applications and services on subnets. -National Message Service: Develop national level communication tools based on sovereign Internet Computer infrastructure, supporting privacy protection and digital asset transfer. -DFINITY in Pakistan: DFINITY will establish branch offices to support AI application development and promote Internet Computer technology. The cooperation aims to promote Pakistan's digital sovereignty and accelerate the development of AI technology.
