Cathie Wood claims that the correlation between Bitcoin and gold is extremely low, and is buying cryptocurrency concept stocks in batches

On February 8th, Cathie Wood, CEO of ARK Invest, stated that the correlation coefficient between Bitcoin and gold returns since 2019 is only 0.14, which is extremely low. She pointed out that gold usually rises before Bitcoin, and this situation may happen again. Cathie Wood also revealed that ARK Invest is gradually making small purchases of cryptocurrency related stocks and stated that although it cannot predict the duration of the decline or whether it will end, it should enter in batches and gradually increase positions when negative emotions are extreme.
