Scam Sniffer Report: Signature phishing caused $6.27 million in losses in January

Scam Sniffer released its January 2026 security report on February 8th, which showed a surge in signature phishing incidents in January, with a total of 4741 victims losing $6.27 million, a 207% increase from December last year. The report also mentioned that a user lost $12.25 million in January due to copying an incorrect address from their transaction records, and another victim lost $50 million for the same reason in December last year.
