Illinois proposes to establish a state-level Bitcoin reserve

Illinois proposed the Community Bitcoin Reserve Act earlier this week, which plans to hold Bitcoin through multi signature cold storage and establish the Altgeld Bitcoin Reserve. According to the bill, reserved Bitcoin can only be traded or sold after obtaining new legislative authorization.
