This technical rebound failed after breaking down. Although it bounced back a few thousand dollars at the time, it didn’t consolidate and build momentum to go higher—it just dropped straight down. Even though I reminded everyone to keep expectations low and not fantasize, the rebound was indeed too small. This shows it didn’t meet expectations. If you didn’t take profits quickly, you need to cut your losses. Cutting losses doesn’t necessarily mean there won’t be higher levels later, but this trade was wrong. It was a gamble on a technical rebound, not a trend setup. If it’s wrong, you have to admit it.
