Kyle Samani, co-founder of Multicoin Capital, responded to Taran's tweet about the future of the cryptocurrency industry by stating that cryptocurrencies are not as interesting as many enthusiasts expected. He mentioned that although he once believed in the vision of Web3, he now believes that blockchain has the ability to reshape finance primarily as an asset ledger, with limited potential in other fields, and decentralized physical infrastructure networks (DePIN) being a few exceptions. In addition, he pointed out that on chain privacy is still an unresolved technical issue and mentioned that he is optimistic about Zama's solution. This tweet was deleted by Kyle shortly after its release.
