**[Binance Denies Issuing Legal Threats in Response to Bankruptcy Rumors]** According to The Block, Binance has officially denied allegations made by social media user Lewsiphur, who claimed to have received a cease-and-desist letter along with related documents from Binance. Binance stated that the document was fabricated. Previously, Lewsiphur alleged on social media that Binance was insolvent and warned that this could have a more severe impact on the market than the FTX collapse. Binance’s official customer support account responded: “This letter is not from Binance; it is a highly imaginative forged document.” Although the document reportedly demanded Lewsiphur delete the related posts by 5 PM Eastern Time, as of the time of publication, the posts had not been removed. Rumors about Binance’s bankruptcy have been intensifying recently, with some users linking it to the market crash in October 2025. Binance has repeatedly denied involvement in such claims, with former CEO Changpeng Zhao calling the accusations “baseless” during a public Q&A session. Additionally, some community users, citing distrust of the exchange, have initiated a movement to withdraw funds from Binance to self-custody wallets. In response, Binance co-founder Yi He stated that regularly withdrawing funds from exchanges is an effective stress test and noted that the amount of assets in Binance’s wallets has actually increased since the activity began.
