Fidelity launches USD stablecoin FIDD for retail and institutional investors

The US dollar stablecoin, Fidelity Digital Dollar (FIDD), owned by Fidelity Investments, has been officially launched and supports retail and institutional investors. This stablecoin is issued by the Fidelity Digital Asset Association based on Ethereum. Users can subscribe or redeem it at a fixed price of $1 through Fidelity Digital Asset, Fidelity Crypto Asset, and Fidelity Crypto Asset Services for wealth management platforms.
