Goldman Sachs: Ethereum's daily number of new addresses reaches a historic high

Goldman Sachs pointed out that the daily number of new addresses added to Ethereum reached 427000 in January, a record high, far exceeding the daily average of 162000 addresses during the "DeFi Summer" period in 2020. At present, Ethereum has a daily active address count of 1.2 million (based on a 7-day moving average), also setting a new historical high. In addition, the Ethereum network saw a month on month increase of+27.5% in daily active addresses,+26.8% in new addresses, and+36.0% in transaction numbers in January. Goldman Sachs also stated that the current market value of Ethereum is lower than its realized market value, and most ETH holders are in a loss making state. The daily active addresses and transaction numbers of Solana network increased by+24.3% and+8.2% month on month, respectively.
