[Epstein Once Refused to Manipulate Cryptocurrency Prices to Avoid Public Ethical Issues] BlockBeats News, February 2: According to newly exposed Epstein documents, in August 2018, Epstein told Bitcoin developer Jeremy Rubin that he had ethical concerns about manipulating cryptocurrency prices. Epstein declined a deal related to manipulating cryptocurrency prices, stating that he was more willing to fund other ventures but could not publicly engage in activities with ethical issues. Additionally, the newly disclosed documents include an interesting email from Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong to investors. In February 2016, Brian Armstrong told investors in an email that Coinbase was working behind the scenes to ensure that the Bitcoin network would not be held back by 'early idealists' and predicted a hard fork to 2MB blocks would occur in the next month or two. However, this hard fork never happened, with the last attempt being abandoned in the fall of 2017 due to a lack of community support, as it was seen as being driven by corporate interests.
