FTX creditor representative says next round of fund distribution is expected to take place on March 31st

Sunil, the representative of FTX creditors, stated in a post on X platform that the next round of fund distribution for FTX is expected to take place on March 31st. The total amount of reconciled claims is about 9.6 billion US dollars, including about 780 million US dollars for claims below 50000 US dollars, about 7.8 billion US dollars for claims above 50000 US dollars, and about 1 billion US dollars for non customer claims. Sunil stated that the size of the dispute reserve has been reduced by approximately $2.2 billion. If the $2 billion funds are distributed after renewal, it is expected that claims categories of over $50000 will receive approximately $1.7 billion in additional compensation. The pace of distribution still depends on the progress of dispute claim processing and asset realization.
