Federal Reserve Vice Chairman for Regulatory Affairs Bauman said she still supports lowering interest rates, but voted at this week's meeting to keep monetary policy unchanged in order to collect more data before the next reduction in borrowing costs. Bauman expects to cut interest rates three times this year, each by 25 basis points, and believes that the inflation rate may approach 2%, and the weak job market still requires loose policies. She pointed out that the job market has shown signs of stability and suggested waiting until the next meeting to consider adjusting the current policy interest rate range of 3.50% -3.75%.
