Zcash Foundation announces strategic priorities and activity plan for 2026

Zcash Foundation Executive Director Alex Bornstein has released strategic priorities for 2026, including improving Zebra performance and advancing Z3 technology stack to replace zcashd, releasing FROST threshold signature scheme v3 version and introducing distributed key generation protocol, and promoting privacy protection assistance programs to explore identity solutions based on zero knowledge proofs. In addition, Zcash Fund plans to hold three events in 2026: the online event Zcomm on March 24th, the Zcash Dev Summit in Rome, Italy on May 8th, and Zcon7 in Cancun, Mexico from October 27th to 29th.
