The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission and the Capital Markets Authority of the United Arab Emirates signed a memorandum of understanding today, aimed at strengthening cross-border regulatory cooperation between the two sides in the field of digital assets. This is the first time that the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission has reached an agreement with overseas regulatory agencies on regulatory cooperation for regulated digital asset entities. The memorandum establishes a regulatory cooperation framework, including mutual consultation and information exchange among cross-border regulated digital asset entities, reflecting its commitment to promoting international cooperation in accordance with the ASPIRe roadmap.
