149 million Infostealer data breaches, 420000 involving Binance user accounts

Security researcher Jeremiah Fowler revealed that an Infostealer malware leak dataset containing approximately 149 million records contains around 420000 login credentials related to Binance. The data comes from personal devices infected with malicious software, involving platforms such as Gmail, Facebook, Instagram, Netflix, etc. Binance stated that it will monitor the dark web, alert affected users, and reset passwords. It also recommends users to enable hardware level multi factor authentication (MFA), use antivirus software, and strengthen account security.
