Coinbase predicts improvement in the cryptocurrency market environment in the first quarter of 2026

Coinbase Institutional pointed out in its latest Charting Crypto report that after the cryptocurrency market adjustment at the end of 2025, the market structure will become more stable in early 2026. The report mentioned that the decline in the fourth quarter of last year cleared excessive leverage and speculative positions, and the current market is in a recalibration stage. Investors are actively participating but more cautious, and their position allocation is more reasonable and orderly, reducing downside risks. On chain data shows that supply dynamics are becoming more orderly, panic selling has decreased, holder behavior has returned to normal, and the use of leverage in the derivatives market has become more restrained. Although macro uncertainty still exists, related risks have been partially absorbed by market positions, and price reactions are more restrained.
