Binance applies for EU MiCA license in Greece to meet compliance deadline

Binance has submitted a license application for the European Union's Crypto Asset Market Regulation (MiCA) to the Greek Capital Market Commission in response to compliance requirements before the end of the transition period on June 30th. The French financial market regulatory agency previously listed Binance as one of the 90 companies that have not yet obtained MiCA licenses on January 13th, and required relevant companies to complete license applications within the deadline, otherwise they would have to cease operations in July. According to data from the European Securities and Markets Authority, Greece has not yet issued any MiCA licenses, while Germany and the Netherlands lead in the number of licenses issued.
