Trump announces temporary suspension of tariffs and preliminary agreement framework on Greenland

US President Trump stated that after meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, a preliminary framework for a future agreement on Greenland and the Arctic region has been established. If the plan is achieved, it will benefit the United States and NATO member countries. Trump announced that he will not implement the tariffs originally scheduled to take effect on February 1st, and revealed that discussions regarding Greenland and the "Golden Dome" project are still ongoing. Vice President Vance, Secretary of State Rubio, Special Envoy Witkov, and related personnel will be responsible for negotiations and report directly to Trump.
