Ripple CEO Predicts Cryptocurrency Usage by Fortune 500 Companies in 2026

Ripple President Monica Long stated that by the end of 2026, approximately 250 of the largest companies in the United States will hold cryptocurrencies or use blockchain driven financial instruments. She mentioned that Coinbase's survey in mid-2025 showed that 60% of executives in Fortune 500 companies stated that their employers had already started blockchain projects. Lang pointed out that more and more listed companies are beginning to include Bitcoin on their balance sheets. Currently, the number of Fortune 500 companies holding Bitcoin is limited. GameStop purchased 4710 Bitcoin for the first time in May 2025, and Block Inc and Tesla are also on the list. In addition, the number of digital asset management companies has increased from 4 in 2020 to over 200, with an expected increase of nearly 100 by 2025 alone.
