The Winklevoss brothers donated 3221 ZECs to support the development of Zcash privacy protocol

Shielded Labs announced that Gemini co founders Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss donated 3221 ZECs (approximately $1.2 million) to the organization to support core research and development projects such as the Zcash Network's Sustainable Development Mechanism (NSM), Crosslink cross chain protocol, and dynamic fee system. The two have long supported Zcash's privacy currency concept, and Gemini has previously supported ZEC's Orchard privacy withdrawal function. This is their second donation to Shielded Labs.
