Attackers carry out 'dust attacks' by forging similar addresses, inducing users to transfer funds to the wrong address. After Fusaka upgrade, transaction costs decreased by over 60%, significantly reducing the implementation cost of such attacks. Research shows that over 116000 people have been victimized, with cumulative losses exceeding $740000.
