The US Trade Representative said that if the Supreme Court rules against Trump, alternative tariffs can be implemented immediately

US Trade Representative Greer stated in an interview with The New York Times that if the Supreme Court overturns President Trump's global tariffs imposed under emergency laws, the Trump administration can implement new tariffs almost immediately. The Supreme Court may rule on the tariff case in the coming weeks, possibly as early as Tuesday. Greer stated that the government will replace these tariffs with other taxes starting from the next day.
