Algorand Foundation returns to the US market and forms a new board of directors

On January 18th, Algorand Foundation announced the relocation of its US headquarters to Delaware and appointed a new board of directors to advance operations and strategic expansion in the US. The new board of directors will focus on global payments, asset tokenization, and other areas, with members including Abra founder and CEO Bill Barhydt (Chairman), United Texas Bank Dallas Executive Vice Chairman and former MoneyGram CEO Alex Holmes, former Acting Director of FinCEN at the US Treasury Department Michael Mosier, Jito Labs Chief Legal Officer Rebecca Rettig, and Algorand Foundation CEO Staci Warden.
