Bitcoin withdrawals significantly increase during Iran protests

From the outbreak of street demonstrations in Iran on December 28 to the Internet blockade on January 8, Chainalysis, a blockchain intelligence company, observed that the on chain transactions of extracting bitcoin from Iranian exchanges to unknown personal wallets increased significantly. The Chainalysis report points out that during the protests, the speed at which Iranian citizens obtained and controlled Bitcoin on their own was significantly higher than before.
