Google will remove unregistered overseas cryptocurrency exchange applications to cover the Korean market

Google announced that from January 28th, it will remove overseas cryptocurrency exchange applications that have not been registered with local financial regulatory authorities from its Korean app store. According to Google's updated "Crypto Exchange and Software Wallet Policy", developers need to submit a registration certificate with the Korean Financial Intelligence Agency as a virtual asset service provider, otherwise their applications will not be searchable or downloadable on the Korean Google Play Store. This policy is expected to affect the application of unregistered overseas exchanges such as KuCoin and MEXC.
