The European Central Bank has stated its commitment to ensuring that inflation remains stable at its target level of 2% in the medium term, with overall inflation expected to reach an average of 1.9% in 2026, 1.8% in 2027, and 2.0% in 2028. The latest Economic Bulletin shows that the European economy has shown resilience, with an expected economic growth rate of up to 1.2% in 2026, 1.4% in 2027, and 1.4% in 2028. The European Central Bank pointed out that despite the resistance brought by tariff measures and uncertainty, the resilience of the global economy is mainly due to investments in artificial intelligence, especially in the United States. The global economic growth outlook has been slightly revised upwards compared to previous forecasts, but overall it is still below the pre pandemic average level.
