Coinbase will launch Midnight perpetual contract trading

According to Coinbase Markets' announcement, the platform plans to launch the Midnight ($NIGHT) perpetual contract (NIGHT-PERP) on or after 9:30 UTC on January 15, 2026, provided that liquidity conditions are met. This contract will be open to retail users in specific regions and provided to institutional traders through Coinbase International Exchange.
