The US Senate Banking Committee will review the Crypto Market Structure Act

The US Senate Banking Committee is about to review a 278 page crypto market structure bill, which proposes 137 amendments to address issues such as DeFi regulation, stablecoin revenue restrictions, and government officials' ethics of holding coins. Some lawmakers are pushing for revisions to the DeFi definition and eligibility criteria for stablecoin returns, while crypto skeptics such as Elizabeth Warren have proposed a ban on stablecoin returns. The deliberation results are expected to be announced this Thursday.
