Pakistan signs stablecoin cross-border payment agreement with World Liberty Financial affiliate

On January 14th, according to Reuters, sources reported that Pakistan has signed an agreement with a World Liberty Financial affiliate to explore the use of World Liberty's stablecoins for cross-border payments. World Liberty Financial is the main cryptocurrency financial business under the Trump family of the United States, launched in September 2024. This collaboration is one of the first publicly announced partnerships between World Liberty and sovereign states.
