🚨NEW: In our Monday interview, @patrickjwitt said a compromise had been reached on the stablecoin yield issue. It’s now past the 5pm ET deadline for senators’ amendments to the text released last night by @BankingGOP. Reports today suggest some Democratic offices were still unsatisfied with the compromise, including a ban on yield on account balances. It’s unclear as of now whether the text has changed.
