The Block reported that by 2025, spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs will attract a total of approximately $31 billion in capital inflows. Among them, Bitcoin's ETF market share remained between 70% and 85% throughout the year, becoming the main target for institutional allocation of cryptocurrency assets; The Ethereum ETF shares fluctuate within the range of 15% -30%, reflecting an increase in institutional acceptance of ETH but still lower than Bitcoin. In addition, the market share of long tail asset ETFs such as XRP, SOL, LINK, LTC, DOGE, etc. is still extremely low, and most products are expected to be approved for launch by the end of 2025. Institutions continuously buy through ETFs to provide support for the price of Bitcoin and view it as a macro hedge tool or 'digital commodity'.
