The Digital Asset Market Transparency Act intends to grant some tokens the same status as BTC and ETH

On January 13th, according to Cointelegraph, the Digital Asset Market Transparency Act plans to treat XRP, SOL, LTC, HBAR, DOGE, and LINK as digital assets on par with BTC and ETH. If these tokens become underlying assets of exchange traded products before January 1, 2026, the bill will apply.
