BTQ launches' Bitcoin Quantum 'test network to tackle quantum challenges

BTQ Technologies, an anti quantum cryptography organization, has launched an unlicensed fork test network called "Bitcoin Quantum" to protect the Bitcoin blockchain. Chris Tam, Head of BTQ Partnership, stated that the network is publicly operational, allowing miners, developers, researchers, and users to conduct stress tests against quantum trading and reveal trade-offs in actual operation. The system uses the anti quantum algorithm Dilithium (ML-DSA), which was standardized in the United States in August 2024 but has not yet been widely applied in the cryptocurrency field due to high operating costs.
