On January 11th, Tether froze USDT worth over $182 million at five wallet addresses on the Tron blockchain, involving wallet balances ranging from approximately $12 million to $50 million. These freezing actions all occurred on the same day, in accordance with Tether's voluntary wallet freezing policy launched in December 2023, which aims to comply with the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control's Specially Designated Nationals List.
