At today’s #CoW meeting in Paris, I emphasized that: – security guarantees for Ukraine must be long-term, based on real European military capabilities, and backed by strong U.S. security commitments; – credible CoW forces with robust air and counter-drone defenses must ensure peace enforcement in Ukraine; – the rapid restoration of Ukraine’s Armed Forces is essential, by increasing their military capabilities and thereby ensuring effective deterrence.(Gitanas Nausėda)
